Sizzling Yee Mee

Sorry but we’re getting all mouth-watery when the name Sizzling Yee Mee pops out And using Mazola Oil to make it at home? Gosh how delicious that would be! Let’s try it out and don’t forget to share how yours turned out in the comments section below Mazola would love to hear it.

Ingredients:

3 tbsp Mazola Corn Oil
3 cloves Garlic
1 in Ginger
5 sprigs Dried Chili
3.5 slice Chicken Breast
2 tbsp Homemade Chicken Stock
6 Dried Shiitake mushrooms
1½ L Water
5 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Thick soya sauce
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
¼ cup Corn Flour
¼ cup Water
4 Yee
4 Egg
3 packets Sawi

Instructions

  • In a pot, stir-fry garlic, ginger, dried chili, chicken, homemade chicken stock and dry shiitake mushroom in Mazola Corn Oil until fragrant.
  • Pour in water, oyster Sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, corn flour and water and let it boil. Simmer for 10 – 20 minutes.
  • Pour in corn flour to thicken the gravy.
  • Heat a flat pan or a sizzling pan. Put in yee mee mustard leaf and pour over sizzling gravy.
  • Let it sizzle. While sizzling, pour in egg and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately.

BAHAN – BAHAN 

  • 3 sudu besar Minyak Jagung Mazola
  • 3 ulas Bawang Putih
  • 1 dalam Halia
  • 5 tangkai Cili Kering
  • 3.5 keping Dada Ayam
  • 2 sudu besar Stok Ayam Buatan Sendiri
  • 6 cendawan Shiitake kering
  • 1.5 L Air
  • 5 sudu besar Sos Tiram
  • 1 sudu besar kicap pekat
  • 1 sudu besar Minyak Bijan
  • 0.25 cawan Tepung Jagung
  • 0.25 cawan Air
  • 4 Yee Mee
  • 4 Telur
  • 3 paket Sawi

CARA PENYEDIAAN

  1. Di dalam periuk, tumis bawang putih, halia, cili kering, ayam, stok ayam buatan sendiri dan cendawan shiitake kering dalam Minyak Jagung Mazola sehingga wangi.
  2. Tuangkan air, Sos tiram, kicap, minyak bijan, tepung jagung dan biarkan mendidih. Reneh selama 10 – 20 minit.
  3. Tuangkan tepung jagung untuk memekatkan kuah.
  4. Panaskan kuali leper atau kuali ‘sizzling’. Masukkan yee mee, daun sawi dan tuangkan kuah yang mendidih.
  5. Biarkan ia berdesing. Semasa mendidih, tuangkan telur dan biarkan ia masak selama 2-3 minit. Hidangkan segera.
